Chapter 01
The Roots & Soul Foundations
It started with Momma singing around the house and school. My sister and I harmonized on car rides, in the kitchen, at church. The Jackson 5 Greatest Hits CD lived on repeat — MJ, Usher, Prince, Trey Songz became my vocal coaches. That's the P in Choclett P. Parrot. Church mics, CDs, and a stubborn drive to sound like the greats.
Chapter 02
Poems, Parodies & First Wins
Poems for girls turned into parodies, then covers, then originals. I stopped losing talent shows — school, city events, karaoke. Bands started forming around me. That's when I knew I had something worth chasing.
Chapter 03
Purpose Over Fame
Music became purpose. I'm not chasing fame — I want to make a living doing what I love. If a record heals somebody or gets them through the day, I already won. Imposter syndrome is still real. The love for the craft outweighs it.

Fatherhood & Intentional Sound
Becoming a father rewired the whole thing. I make music I wouldn't be ashamed for my son to sing. Gospel, R&B, hip-hop, pop — whatever the beat asks for, with lyrics God puts on my heart. Sync-ready, story-driven, honest.
